4597164, a Cabriolet Injection, was scrapped in Germany some years ago.

That brings the total of the 404 C cars we know about to 1485, of which 33 are scrapped.

Also worth noting is that there was an error in the database up to now, with another car laying claim to the serial number 4592522, but since there is a photo of this serial number associated with Carrosserie number 3934, we have to call this other serial number wrong and instead list this other car by its Carrosserie number of 3560.

I have received news from Germany that another car which was scrapped in 2009 has been identified: 4595051, a Cabriolet Injection in the colour Blanc Arosa 1132, EBERSBERG GERMANY

No. 4592600, a Coupé Injection, from France was wrecked in the Netherlands during the 1980s, so that brings the total to 1500 cars!

I raise a glass to you, Mike. Last year, when the number was around 13xx, 1400 seemed impossible. And now, one year later you reached 1500. Congrats !

Thanks Mockenrue, it is surprising me too! I wonder really what percentage of all of them we have now.....dare I say 65%? I really don't know. I just hope the list keeps growing. Only 37 of the 1500 cars are known to be wrecked, so it is quite a few that remain on the road today!
