Well, this latest car from Venezuela has the Carrosserie Peugeot number of 17.250, so it is already 25 higher than we are told by Peugeot that it "should" be. In the database, there are 3 other cars like this, with the Carroserie numbers: 17.231, 17.239 and 17.256. All of these cars are of the very late style Carbureted engine (serial number 467****).
So yes, you are really correct in one way!
